Educational/Sabbatical Leaves

Sabbatical Leave

Faculty members may be eligible to participate in the sabbatical leave program. For more information on eligibility, the process of applying for a sabbatical, and the necessary forms, please review:

Educational Leave

Administrative/Professional Employees

Administrative/Professional employees who have completed five years of employment at Illinois State University may be eligible to apply for an educational leave.

Civil Service Employees

Civil Service employees who have completed at least two years of employment at Illinois State University may be eligible to apply for an educational leave. Leaves may be granted with or without pay. Please contact your Civil Service Employment Consultant for more information.
